Cheezy Crackers

Ingredients
- 3/4 brick chilled Blue Band Margarine
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 cups grated cheese
- 1 tsp salt
- Dash of black pepper
- 2-3 tablespoons cold water
Preparation
Prep Time: 40 minutes Bake Time: 15 minutes
Makes: 50
- Mix Blue Band Margarine, flour, salt, and pepper together until it forms a crumbly mixture.
- Add a few tablespoons of cold water until dough just hold together. Mix in 2 cups of grated cheese.
- Divide into 2 balls, wrap and allow to chill for 30 minutes. Roll out one ball at a time to about 1/8 inch thickness then cut with round cookie cutter.
- Place on parchment lined baking sheet and bake at 350 degree Fahrenheit for about 15 minutes. Allow to cool then serve with a cold glass of juice or milk
TIP: You can add herbs or seasonings to spice up your crackers

If you want to keep your bread fresh, place store bought bread directly in the freezer. The plastic bag that it came in will keep it protected for a few weeks. For long-term storage, wrap the bread in plastic wrap and use a resealable freezer bag. Slicing your loaf before freezing it will allow you to pull out only what you need. To thaw, simply place in the refrigerator overnight or thaw at room temperature for 2-3 hours. To serve warm, wrap in foil and bake at 350oF for 15 to 20 minutes. Microwaving is not recommended as it leaves the bread chewy and/or soggy.
