Recipe courtesy Blue Band
  • 3 lbs flour
  • 1 lb Blue Band Margarine (2 Blue Band Margarine 227g bricks)
  • 1/4 can evaporated milk
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 cans condensed milk
  • Sizzola Oil for frying

For Sugar Syrup:

  • 3 lbs sugar
  • 6 cups water


  1. Knead flour, Blue Band Margarine, cold evaporated milk and water until it forms a firm dough
  2. Roll out until very thin and cut into tiny cubes
  3. Fry in hot oil until light brown
  4. Grind into a very fine powder
  5. Put the powder into a large bowl and add condensed milk
  6. For sugar syrup, combine sugar and boiling water and stir until it forms a thick syrup
  7. Add sugar syrup to powder and condensed milk and turn until mixture combines
  8. Set in dish and cut into squares
