Saffron Rice

- 1 tsp Vegetable Oil
- 1 tbsp Butter
- 1 tsp Garlic minced
- 1 tbsp Pimento/Seasoning Peppers finely chopped
- 1/2 cup Onions minced
- 1 3/4 cup Green Peas
- 1 pack MAGGI Rice It Up Saffron (Turmeric) Rice Seasoning
- 4 cups Cooked Rice
In a heavy bottomed pot, heat vegetable oil and butter until butter has melted.
Add garlic, pimento/seasoning peppers and onions. Saute on medium heat until onions are translucent.
Add green peas and cook for 2 minutes.
Add MAGGI Rice It Up Saffron, stirring to ensure all the peas are coated with the seasonings.
Add cooked rice to the pot stirring to ensure that all of the rice has been well coated.
Serve immediately.
