Our visits to Pointe-a-Pierre Government Special School always feel like coming back to something familiar and deeply meaningful. There’s a special warmth there — in the smiles that light up the room, in the gentle greetings, in the unspoken understanding that we are part of something bigger than ourselves.

Through our JTA Heart & Hands Community initiative, we once again had the honour of standing alongside this incredible school community. We return each year not because it is marked on a calendar, but because it lives in our hearts. What began as support has grown into connection — rooted in trust, nurtured through presence, strengthened by care.

Our annual donation of cleaning supplies and essential toiletries may seem simple at first glance. Yet within those everyday items lies something much deeper — comfort, dignity, reassurance. They help create a clean and safe space where students and staff can move through each day feeling cared for, supported, and valued.

These moments remind us that love does not always arrive loudly. Sometimes, it comes in boxes of essentials. In steady commitment. In choosing to return again and again.
