Essential Care Packages Bring Comfort to Women in Need

In honour of International Women’s Day, JTA Heart and Hands Community Outreach partnered with Aventa to donate feminine essential care packages to women in need, reaffirming a shared commitment to compassion, dignity, and community support.

The donation was presented to the Trinidad and Tobago Red Cross Society, which facilitated distribution to residents of Haven of Hope, The Halfway House, and the Women and Children’s Home. Through this collaboration, the packages reached women in transitional spaces where access to basic personal care items can often be limited.

More than a donation, the initiative was a gesture of care—recognizing that dignity begins with meeting everyday needs. Each package represented encouragement, solidarity, and a reminder that these women are seen, valued, and supported.

Through partnerships and purposeful giving, JTA Heart and Hands Community Outreach continues to extend its mission of uplifting lives and strengthening communities, one act of kindness at a time
